Time for a change

If you stop and think about it... every major achievement, every major success, every revolutionary idea all came from a start in some form.
We need to stop procrastinating and we need to start taking action. Action leads to results. Results leads to change. But we're afraid. We're afraid of that start because we don't know what's at the other end. We don't know if we're going to fail, we don't know if we're going to succeed. And for that reason we don't start, we'd much rather complain: "I don't have the time", "I don't have the money", "I don't have the motivation". So then we get lost in a whirlpool of doubt. We doubt ourselves. We doubt those around us. We doubt that our capabilities are no longer good enough.

When you start an endeavour, whether it be business-related or personal, we always have an agenda, we've got an outcome in mind. We have expectations on what we need to achieve. But our plans don't always fall into place. There are always unforeseen circumstances to throw us off course. This will happen, it's inevitable, but how you cope with it ... now that is our choice. Because we realise that hopes, and dreams, and goals are no longer enough, that hard work and dedication are key.
"You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great"- Zig Ziglar
We all want that fairy tale ending where our idea ends with success. But the hard work to put into that success is something that we fault on. Some of us are prepared to put in that work. If we all knew that whatever we started was going to end the way we wanted it to end. Then we'd all be happy, we'd all be grateful. And that idealistic world would be just that, an ideal.
Some of the great thrills in life are in the unknown. For you to experience that thrill you have to start.
Start doing what you're meant to be doing.
