#Planning is the process of thinking about the activities required to achieve a desired goal. It is one of the executive functions of the brain which requires formulation, evaluation and selection.

So my questions to you are: How do you plan? And Why do you plan? Each of us have a different method of creating a plan, whether it be written notes, technology-based, or just plain winging it.

“Planning is bringing the future into the present so that you can do something about it now"- Alan Lakein

It doesn't matter which you choose as long as it works for you. An easy way to test this is, have you, or are you, achieving your desired goal?... If yes, sweet! Your planning process works!! If no, then its time for a re-evaluation.. as to why we plan... I like to think of it as this: The more you plan, the better prepared you are. The better prepared you are, the more you can achieve, and that's the end goal.

Planning is a huge part of success and requires constant evaluation. As you grow, your plans grow. As you thrive, so does your planning. And when you fail, your plan needs an overhaul. In the long run, planning is known to increase efficiency, reduce risks of failure, and maximise time and resources.

I know I can speak about this stuff because I have lots of experiences with trial and error, and so much more. And I’m here to share some of my experiences with you. It’s easy enough to change our goal rather than the plan. Because it gets too hard to achieve, we change our minds and make a new goal that’s easier to achieve.

As easy as that may be, we shouldn’t give in just because life is too hard, too challenging. We can't be stuck believing that we aren’t good enough. We owe it to our goals, to prove to the world and those who doubted us, to #persevere and #succeed.

If you wanna prove the world and others wrong, do whatever you need to do to achieve your original goal. Come up with a different plan to make it successful, no matter how long it may actually take to achieve it.

"If it doesn't work, change the plan but never the goal"- Anonymous

Nothing is impossible. As long as you set your mind to it regardless of how hopeless it may feel, and how hard, challenging and even impossible it may seem, hold on. Remind yourself of how badly you want it, and imagine what your life would look like if you held on long enough to succeed.

What's your plan?
